The National Society of The Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) SAR is the largest male lineage organization in the United States and consists of 50 state-level societies with more than 500 local chapters and over 33,000 members. Our chapter is the Valentine Sevier Chapter of the Tennessee Society of The Sons of The American Revolution. We are located in Montgomery County, Clarksville, TN.

Shaping Young Minds….By educating our youth about the Constitution and those who developed the American ideals and traditions.
Membership Criteria Any adult male shall be eligible for membership in the SAR who is a citizen of good repute in the community; and a lineal descendant of an ancestor who was at all times unfailing in loyalty to and rendered acceptable service in the cause of American Independence. Validated documentation of lineal descent is required. Applicants must be supported by two existing members.
