We had a wonderful weekend in Lebanon at the Annual State Meeting March 21-22. It was so good to see so many ladies attending! We thank the Margaret Gaston DAR Chapter and especially our hosts Regent Judy Sullivan and Mary Margaret Farris for their hospitality at the historic Fite-Fessenden House. They gave us a wonderful tour of the house as well as offering refreshments.
Tracy Diffenderfer and Gail Longton were instrumental in our decorating for the Youth Luncheon and the Banquet on Saturday. Several of you provided tablecloths which were much appreciated. And Michelle MorganBlair is always the best right hand person. It is easier when we have so much help!
Please make your plans to come to the next BOG which will be in Hendersonville June 21. More information will be available later. We love to welcome new ladies as well as seeing our old friends. We are just a fun bunch, so come on and join us! Minutes from the March meeting are included here.

Purpose of the Ladies Auxiliary
The Purpose of the Ladies Auxiliary of the TNSSAR is to maintain a non-profit association of women interested in the patriotic, historical, and educational objectives of the TNSSAR and to support their goals and activities.
Membership is open to female supporters of TNSSAR with the completion of the membership form and payment of dues ($10/year or $100 lifetime). By joining the TNSSAR Ladies Auxiliary, that automatically puts you in the National Ladies Auxiliary.
The goals of the Auxiliary are to stimulate greater interest in and support of the Society, to assist them in the promotion of SAR membership and in furthering the objectives and patriotic activities of the SAR which are declared to be historical, patriotic, and educational.
The Auxiliary seeks to help with the quarterly BOG, the yearly state meeting, and participate in the yearly Congress and twice a year Leadership in Louisville. The Auxiliary also seek ways to raise money to help with the state youth awards.
The Auxiliary meets four times a year when the TNSSAR Board of Governors meets. The National and State Auxiliaries both have beautiful pins you may purchase and wear!
We welcome anyone desiring to join our group of women! For more information, or to receive an application, contact Rebekah Chaffin, President, LA-TNSSAR, (423) 280-0525, ladiesauxiliary@tnssar.org.
